Tour Intensity
If you have a full day to explore Canberra this tour is the best value way to see as much as possible. Departing at 9.30am you can see your most desired attractions at your leisure. The Explorer Bus provides a coach sightseeing loop around Canberra and you can hop on and off as much as you like along the way.
The first stop of the day is the Australian War Memorial, combining a shrine, a world-class museum and extensive archive, you could spend hours learning and understanding about Australia’s experiences in war.
Hop back on the bus and head over to Questacon. This fantastic attraction has spectacular science shows and hundreds of interactive hands-on exhibits; you can even experience a real earthquake!
After you’ve tried many of these exhibits hop on over to the National Portrait Gallery, National Art Gallery or Parliament House. Learn about the history of Australia’s Government; see where the Senate and House of Representatives sit and even view parliament debating (if in session).
You can spend as much or as little time as you like at the attractions. The Explorer Bus completes the loop and comes back around every 1 ½ hours and you can jump on and off wherever you like with your ticket. The day tour is ideal for those that want to see as much of Canberra as possible but have little time to do so.
