The National Zoo & Aquarium is Australia's only combined Zoo and Aquarium. That's 2 attractions in one! The zoo is situated on around 25 acres of land just five minutes from the centre of Canberra.
With a wide variety of exotic animals, including the largest single group of white lions in Australia, the largest inland saltwater tank in Australia, as well as koalas, dingos and Australian snakes there is something for everyone. Wander in and take a casual stroll around the park, or make a day of it with family, friends and cook up some lunch on one of the complimentary BBQ's.
Daily activities take place every day including Keeper talks and hand feeding the animals.
